We held a seminar on ultrafast fluctuations and nano-materials. In recent years, measurement techniques capable of probing intrinsic ultrafast “fluctuations” in materials have advanced significantly, drawing increasing attention to their use in novel characterization methods and emerging applications. In this seminar, the speakers introduced the latest developments in the field and discussed future research directions.

We had the opportunity to hear about cutting-edge topics, including fluctuations near phase transition temperature in magnetic phase transitions, ultrafast responses in nano-materials, and nanoscale spectroscopic techniques.
